Tom
Dailley

I recently graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Financial Mathematics. Growing up in England, Macau, Hong Kong, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia exposed me to a wide range of cultures from an early age, teaching me to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and build relationships with people from all walks of life.

These experiences sparked a genuine interest in how people, organisations, and cultures work together to achieve common goals something that has shaped both my professional and personal outlook.

Through leadership positions, sporting commitments, and professional roles I have developed skills in project management, teamwork, and decision making. I enjoy taking ownership of responsibilities and contributing to positive outcomes for the people around me.

AI Arms Race: Good or Bad for Financial Market Efficiency?
This report examines how rapid advancements in artificial intelligence are influencing financial markets. Using the February 2026 “SaaSpocalypse” a $285bn software stock selloff triggered by Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.6 release it combines EMH theory with behavioural finance to explain why major AI developments drive both improved long-run efficiency and severe short-run mispricing.
